One-Click Instagram Downloader Bookmarklet

This is a tiny button you keep in your browser’s bookmarks bar. When you’re looking at an Instagram post on a computer, one click sends that post to SaveInstant and the download starts. No copying links, no pasting.

How to set it up

1. Show your bookmarks bar: press Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows) or Command+Shift+B (Mac).
2. Drag the Save to SaveInstant button onto the bar.
3. Open an Instagram post, Reel or story on instagram.com in the same browser.
4. Click the bookmark. SaveInstant opens with the link already filled in and fetched.

Good to know

• It only sends the address of the page you’re on. It doesn’t read your Instagram account or anything else.
• It works in Chrome, Edge and Safari on a computer. Firefox sometimes blocks bookmarklets on Instagram, and phones make bookmarklets awkward.
• If nothing happens, use the address-bar shortcut instead: type saveinstant.app/go/ in front of the Instagram link and press Enter.
